3D Modelled Cosmetic and Bath Products

For our packaging design lesson, we were to create our own brand identity for an organic product company. The signature characteristic of my own company was emphasis on reduced waste and biodegradable materials. I first designed a simple packaging concept for women’s single-use face masks, and then a concept for a single-use children’s bath travel kit, ideal for but not limited to use outside of home. The product would consist of a bath bomb and shampoo and conditioner capsules encased in a thin, recyclable cardboard case. The bath bomb itself is durable enough to remain unpackaged, while the capsules would be made of a water soluble bioplastic membrane. Given the shape of the soaps being reminiscent of planets, I opted to make the concept space themed and illustrated it as such. Due to limitations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to print our work and thus 3D modelled our own mockups in order to showcase it.
