Choosing a book with a restriction to be related to Cyprus, not necessarily the content, I came across to Prothalamoi, Andreas Onoufriou. Based on the title of the book, I analyzed the meaning of the word in various ways and in the end its simplification led me to design top views. That was when I found a key element, the bracket [ ] which simply creates top view plans and spaces, such as vestibules (prothalamoi). Also the title of the first book, is written with an experimental font designed from brackets.
With a similar design style I created a series of books.
